A celebration of 100 years of achievements and ongoing endeavours in the field of peace-making
|Covid-19 restrictions may affect the possibility to hold this event. At the moment we plan to go ahead but will closely follow health announcements and protocols. If necessary it will become an on-line event with a physical event to take place in 2021.|
Sunday 20 Sept: Peace Fair from 2pm to 8pm
More than 20 organisations working for peace and related issues will join together to display their campaigns and achievements. There will be stalls, exhibitions, movies, speakers, refreshments, entertainment, activities for children, live-feed to facebook for those who can’t be there in person. ICAN’s Nobel Peace Prize medal will be on display. There will be a reunion for IVP and WILPF (NSW) members with a huge cake to celebrate 100 years of these organisations. Detailed program to be announced.
