Creating Glideways: New Workcamp in Australia

Protect wildlife and restore habitat for the endangered Southern Greater Glider.

Activities include tree planting, spotlight surveys for glider monitoring, installation and checking of nest boxes, eDNA sampling of waterbodies, setting up acoustic and camera traps, supporting community engagement events and citizen science activities with local schools.

 

Project duration: 11 May 2026 — 30 May 2026

 

We are seeking 10 volunteers and a Camp Leader

Camp Leader: Remuneration to assist with travel and on-ground expenses up to a maximum of AUD $1000 (50% at the beginning of the camp and 50% upon completion of all requirements)

Basic Requirements

– Experience and/or training as a volunteer group leader

– Proficient in English

– Driving – must hold a valid local or international driver’s licence
